JOINED OXFORD COMMUNITY SCHOOLS
I have been an educator for over 25 years and love being part of “Team O”!
I’ve also worked as a Commercial Loan Officer. Before coming to Michigan, I taught in a bilingual school in Milwaukee, WI, then as an Elementary and Middle School Spanish teacher.
After moving to Michigan, I substituted in the Oxford district, then taught 5th grade for several years at Oxford Elementary School. After a short trip to Cuba, I responded to an opportunity to teach Spanish here at Lakeville. I also advise the Lakeville Student Council and serve as part of the school’s RULER Social/Emotional Learning Team.
I am one of 7 siblings who live all over the country. As a teen, I lived in Montevideo, Uruguay for two years, where I started to study Spanish. I currently live in Oxford with my husband Gary and cat, Princess Leia. We enjoy volunteering with Oxford High School’s incredible Theatre program and are kept busy enjoying life with three amazing and talented young adults: Erica, Rebekah, and Josh.
