Dear Lakeville Parents,
This morning we learned from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) that a 9-1-1 call was dialed from a cell phone near Lakeville Elementary School. According to the OCSO, when dispatch answered the call no one was on the line. As a precaution, an Oakland County Sheriff’s Officer came to investigate our building. With the heightened sensitivities of our community, we just wanted to let you know everyone is safe at Lakeville Elementary and the staff and students are going about their normal day. The phone the call came from has been located and it has been confirmed that the call to 9-1-1 was accidentally dialed and there was no emergency.
