She has been very accommodating, incredibly patient, and very supportive with Ellinor. Mrs. Bartlo communicates daily about what’s going on in the classroom and what we as parents can do to support her and our child collectively. 🌟 2025 Staff Appreciation Week Shout-Out 🌟 Jimmy loved Mr. Robydek from OES and his “teeny weenie beanie”. Fifth grade was fun and memorable for him because of his commitment to strong relationships with his students. Jimmy grew a lot that year, much to Mr. Robydek’s tireless reassurance that he knew he had it in him. We are so grateful for you Mr. Robydek! -Danielle C. Mr. Robydek from OES is a special teacher. He makes sure his students have a safe and fun atmosphere - always looking for creative ways to teach curriculum. Nicholas was lucky enough to be his student council rep his 5th grade year. I really believe this helped his confidence. Over the years they have touched base here and there. Nicholas knows he can count on him if he needs anything. He lights up when he sees Mr. Robydek. He feels valued and seen. We are so appreciative of Mr. Robydek and his relationship he creates with his students. Not just the year they are with him, but throughout the years. The Career and Technical Education Department is seeking advice and assistance from key business and industry partners in order to keep our state-approved CTE programs up to industry standards.👩‍🔬🚑 We would like to invite YOU to become a member of the CTE Advisory Committee, which meets approximately two times per year. The purpose of the Advisory Committee is to collaborate with one another and to provide recommendations for the continuous improvement of our CTE programs. Oxford High School currently has 9 programs and 4 Early Middle College Programs: - Mechatronics - Digital Multimedia - Automotive Technology (Early Middle College) - Marketing (Early Middle College) - Computer Programming - Radio & Television Broadcast Technology - Business - Health Science - Finance (Early Middle College) - Information Technology (Early Middle College) The Spring Career and Technical Education Advisory Committee Meeting will be held in the morning on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 8:15-9:45am in the PAC lobby. 🏆At Oxford Community Schools we are honored to have 4 AMAZING Acorn2Oak grant winners! This grant is for Oakland County young dreamers who deserve the resources to make their visions real. 🌟OHS Students Abubakar Touray and Kuumba Touray, and OES students Addi M. and Elin P. represented Oxford in 4 unique and impressive ways! Abubakar Touray was honored with the Acorns Award for his active role in planning and attending the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Jr. National Convention. His involvement in connecting with aspiring engineers and representing his community at a national level is commendable!👨🏾‍🔬 Kuumba Touray earned recognition for her dedication to gymnastics, showcasing incredible discipline and passion. Her success is truly inspiring!🤸🏾‍♂️ Addi M. was awarded an entrepreneurial grant to launch her own slime business. What a creative and fun venture!🖌️ Elin P. was recognized with a community service grant for her thoughtful initiative to create and deliver care packages to those affected by the Oxford Tragedy. 🎉📚Ms. Hoke’s 4th grade students at OES surpassed their reading goal of 15,000 minutes by logging an impressive 17,436 minutes for the month of March! To celebrate this amazing achievement, they had a glow party filled with solving math/reading glow-themed mysteries, playing Jeopardy, and of course dancing!
